Our thesis

Why we’re building Mandala.

We believe home healthcare can be reimagined, with more human care, less administrative burden, and a fundamentally better way to serve patients at home.

  1. The problem

Home healthcare is undervalued and overwhelmed.

Home healthcare provides an essential level of care, but the current model is fragmented, administratively burdensome, and difficult to scale.

Clinicians and small teams spend an extraordinary amount of time on paperwork, care coordination, and insurance requirements: time that should be spent with patients. As a result, many patients either receive less support than they need at home or are pushed to nursing homes earlier than necessary.

  2. The insight

AI can unlock a better way to deliver care.

AI makes it possible to automate the operational burden that has always limited home healthcare.

From documentation and scheduling to insurance checks and care coordination, software agents can reliably handle the back-office work. This allows clinicians to focus on what matters most: delivering high-quality, human care.

  3. Our approach

Build the agency around the technology.

We are building an AI-native home health agency, not just software for existing agencies.

Our platform unifies three core capabilities, an AI-powered clinician workspace, family connectivity, and intelligent home monitoring, into one integrated system. Together, these technologies expand what is possible for patients receiving care at home, bridging the gap between traditional home healthcare and nursing home care.

  4. Why us

A unique combination of clinical and technical expertise.

Designed by a physician. Powered by engineering.

With over 20 years of experience as a practicing pain and rehabilitation physician and agency owner, our cofounder brings deep, firsthand understanding of the clinical and operational challenges in home healthcare. Our engineering expertise allows us to turn those insights into scalable, AI-native solutions.

The next step

Let’s talk about your agency.

See how Mandala fits the way your team already works. No commitment, just a conversation.
